Certified Inspector Training

Superior Industrial Insulation Company offers Firestop training that has been approved in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Oregon for 16 CEU Credits.

Designed for Firestop Inspectors, this basic competency course develops resident Firestop experts who can return home and inspect the completed work of others for compliance. Taught as a workshop, this two-day in-service training includes a day of classroom instruction, a halfday hands-on lab and an exam.

The class covers what to look for in firestop installations and includes a hands-on demonstration. Tuition covers attending both days of training.

Certificates are issued for those who pass, which expire every two years or every year, depending on the level.
